FALCO shoots with Tom Cruise

1987 becomes a hard year for the real Falco-Fans. The master retreats from the music-market - admittedly he will make us happy with a live-record cutted from the tour in '86 - will places no foot into a sound-studio but will stand in front of the cameras in Vienna, Budapest and Hollywood for two international film productions . BRAVO experienced full particulars to it from the 'falcon' himself in an interview.

BRAVO: In the next year you will begin seriously with the movie-business. Was the experience from *money or liver * so positive?
FALCO: From *money or liver * it gave no other experience, as that you also can be in well paid vacations. That was a self-parody, not more. I could buy a few diapers more for my daughter with the coal and simultaneously could offer the whole family the only vacation, in which we could be this year.

So what can you tell us already about the two planned films, that you take in attack now?
The one film is called *The gold-maker *, is shoot in Munich, Vienna and Budapest and describes a man, Franz Tausend, who has made it to wangle several millions of Reich-Marks from the Nazis, in that he pretended he was able to make gold from inferior metals. Up to the end one has not been able to prove him whether he was a charlatan or not. As a precaution, they put him into KZ. There he came out at end of the war again but since that time has nobody heard something from him again. An authentic history, really happens - and I play this Franz Tausend.

The second project runs in America?
Yes, Tom Cruise plays the leading role, I have a small male role, but very fine, very much on the point. A German CIA-agent - the story is about the landing of the Americans in Cuba in the pig-bay, and I becomes somehow active, also with boats , you see, the boats don't let go me.

Which title does the film have?
So far only one work-title, this is called *Commando something*, exactly I don't know of this in the moment.
