I would like to record a duet with Madonna

Bravo: With *Coming home - Jeanny II* you have seamless tied up to the success of " Jeanny I". In order to finish all speculations: Jeanny lives?
Falco: Speculations are made at the stock exchange. With me it gives no Speculations.

Bravo: But you have never committed yourself concrete which happens with the girl Jeanny, what happens with the bloke, whom you represent in the video.
Falco: I have never suggested, Jeanny is dead.

Bravo: However you also have never said definitely: Jeanny lives.
Falco: As artists, I live from that my name is Falco and Falco says nothing definitive. I believe that I not either can promise, how it's now looming with the second part of Jeanny, if it will stick to three parts. The trilogy, of which they say it would have be a good excuse, that actually is a fact and surely in addition still some parts more.

Bravo: Couldn't you give us a summary of the whole story?
Falco: No, then the tension is away, and I would like to have a little bit from the tension anymore.

Bravo: The video to " Coming Home " is very bold, full allusions again. Is the script from you?
Falco: I tell my ideas to the two directors and producers of the video Rossacher and Dolezal and they then place them in scene very well.

Bravo: Which scene was especially difficult?
Falco: Once the scene in the walk, where I slink along with suitcase, coat and hat and Jeanny as Bunny appears again and again , yes and then of course the scene, where my head is connected to the whole wires, inside the TV .

Bravo: This sequence still point clearly to the therapy of a lunatic with electro-shocks.
Falco: You interpret this! That all left remains to the observer, that mustn't be electro-shocks that could be also a lie-detector or something.

Bravo: Out from which idea has the costumes then originated with the big white hat and the wide coat?
Falco: First I said, I would like to look like Marlene Dietrich so they said: Please, who is this? I said: Okay, you are too young for it. Then I said Hans Albers, and they then said, yes we know him, but he was blond. Then we have unified for a mixture between Marlon Brando, Klaus Kinski and Clint Eastwood.

Bravo: Theresa Guggenberger is playing the role of Jeanny in the second video again - like in Jeanny I . It was heard that you were moped over the unexpectedly much media-resonance Theresa found so that you have thought to engage another girl for the role.
Falco: This was neither the media nor Theresa . This was at the agency, with which Theresa has worked or still works, at the model-agency although she isn't any model but a pupil of an acting school. Yes, this agency has then placed news into the world like: " Even if Falco comes and asks and begs, under 2000 marks in the minute, or what, we don't give him the girl under 17000 marks in the hour !" And than I said: You will be surprised, I wont her anymore. But this has nothing to do with the girl, who is very talented and very good.

Bravo: Then it is also not correct that during your Austria-tour Theresa has tried in vain to change a word with you?
Falco: No, no, completely in the opposite, we have chatted together even a half hour, I only had something against that photos are done there because rumors would have originated again there. It is about my video and not about the actors.

Bravo: Does Theresa then also play in the further planned Jeanny-Videos?
Falco:Yes I hope , if she has no child until then.

Bravo: You smoke very much during our interview. Was that always so?
Falco: I smoke just very gladly. I am an ardent smoker, already smokes since I can breathe, meanwhile even my mother has noticed.

Bravo: How important is your image for you, and what belongs to it?
Falco: I believe that it needs a certain time until you has found your way. Before six years I has started to be successful and has already mutated externally a little bit in the meantime , changed me . Here is once the person Hans Hoelzl and there is the image Falco, and the image has to come to the person, not the person has to turn into the image.

Bravo: How important are pure trivialities for you?
Falco: I would say, either measurement-shoes about 1000 marks or sneakers. Between it is only few, there it is narrow.

Bravo: In favor of which of the two possibilities you have decided?
Falco: Alternate - that shifts.

Bravo: Do you have a tailor, that makes measurement-suits for you?
Falco: Yes, in Vienna. I find it quite good, running around once in the Jogging-Dress and then again let hanging out the " fashionable interested".

Bravo: The short hair is also new with you. Do you have a specific barber?
Falco: Yes, I 'm going to the Erich. Erich Johann, who is the most hip. He actually has a coffeehouse, but by the way he cuts hair. I 'm always go in and say: " Erich, outdoors sits my lawyer please as short as possible, but not that you can see the scalp."

Bravo: Does the sun-glasses also belong to your image?
Falco: Already since 6 years. Sun glasses are always a very good style-method because one doesn't see the eyes. I have no desire, to put my eyes makeup on for the television for example, also I just perform there with sun glass. Also the idea with the combed back hair is nothing other, as that you simply hang the head under the water pipe and you are always combed.

Bravo: Your girlfriend Isabella lives no longer with you in Vienna ...
Falco: Whether voluntarily or involuntary is not established.

Bravo: Has Isabella left you?
Falco: I make no promotion for the Isabella. What's pertain to the child , I can tell you at first once, I current have no big problems with it, because she is very fine, very good. She has everything, which she needs, and she is too small to comprehend what runs so. For the future, I have two possibilities: Either I do as further as until now, with the same steam and with the same use and my daughter then comes someday in ten years to the point, saying: " Daddy, though it pleases me here in New York quite well, because the houses so high and the cars so big , and in Monte Carlo it pleases me also, because the sea is so beautiful, but you don't love me so much because you haven't take many care in the last ten years for me." That is the one possibility. The other would be: I would now put back in favor of the family-father and would neglect my occupation or would reduce and would probably come in ten years to the point where my daughter says: " Daddy, I like you completely, quite dear, but my neighbor in the school, this has a bicycle about 1000 marks and I have only one about 600." So, now I can choose for me. I believe, it is good for my daughter if she can walk and speak that I takes her and show her the world, even if much are afraid, that I push her to the side when I'm on the way. However that must not be so. I believe, that you pushes the child more aside substantially, if you says, she is in good hands in Graz-Liebenau with her mother and so I now can drives around the world again. That is an substantially bigger neglect. If I take my daughter with me early enough, then she will grows in this life and unfortunately I can offer no other life. I surely will make concessions, I will always look that she has good schools because a good education is incredibly useful, I will endeavor myself to make everything right.

Bravo: I would like to come back to the question again: Has Isabella left you or do you have her boot out?
Falco: That is a very, very concrete question, and just like you knows the Falco he doesn't answer to concrete questions. I believe that among young people - and I'm certainly no exception - it always gives trouble. That this cannot be delivered at the back of the child of course, is also clear for me. We will come to an arrangement , you can be sure, that in the future I will give you even much stuff.

Bravo: Now you are alone in your apartment in Vienna.
Falco: Nope, I am not alone, namely I cannot be alone. I am very unwillingly alone. If I am in Vienna, the baby is with me, therefore also my mother then is there in this time she lives with me because the apartment is big enough. If I am on the way, yes, then what shall shein Vienna? Then, she is with the mother of course.

Bravo: You wanted yourself buying or building a house outside from Vienna. How far do the plans progressed?
Falco: Primarily it was about the child, because I am sure , that children grow up better in green. Okay, I have grown up also between bricks and walls and nevertheless have become a relative normal human. In any case it is well for the child if there's a little bit green , if somewhere it gives a cow , if somewhere children of a farmer, who keep a quite different life however. That was the reason for the idea with the house in becoming green, I will attaching me surely no water-head , because I cannot administer everything anyway if I don't be there.

Bravo: You keep the apartment in Vienna in any case?
Falco: Yes, this is my bachelor-apartment, I keep that in any case, it is cheap and beautiful. Just for mother and child I will furnish an apartment in becoming green once, one will see...

Bravo: Do you have an individual car in Vienna?
Falco: I have the small French, a Peugeot, with telephone and a super system in there. But I don't drive much because there are too many idiots on our streets, that you are exposed. The car stands the most time stands in the garage, my motherdrives a little bit with it and the Isabella sometimes.

Bravo: How important is friendship for you, and how many real friends you have?
Falco: Very important, and therefore I have only three real friends, all long-time friend, all guys. I mean, of course I have many friends as you can think. People, who go to lunch with you three times and then they think, they are your friend. Friends, who talk you only after the mouth of course. Right-givers, this amuses me, and then I leave them simply in the awareness. I laugh me behind the hand and think for me, what kind of idiot. I hate nothing more than pure loyalty expressions.

Bravo: In the summer you wanted to make the driver's license for Speedboats.
Falco: Introduce to you, I have managed it. They have given me the patent! My father has fallen from the chair. My father builds machines, is very versed in technology, the wheels and the buttons in the world. He knows exactly that I belong to the people, which you give a hammer and a nail in the hand and make the reservation in the hospital simultaneously. Simultaneously with the boat-leader-patent, I got kindly too - I don't know at all what a diesel kraft motor is - a certificate to the continuous maintenance and repair of diesel kraft motors until 500 PS for myself and as he saw this he has fallen because he knows exactly that I have no idea what this is.

Bravo: From which artist would you like to cover a song once?
Falco: In my head I have the plan, to make sometimes between in there a record " Falco sings Hans Albers " . Quite serious, " Flieger, zeig mir die Sonne" (Airman, show me the sun) and such matters.

Bravo: You have thought no longer of any duet since the failed attempt with Désirée Nosbusch?
Falco: O yes, I would like to record a duet with Madonna.

Bravo: Does she know about it?
Falco: She still knows nothing but in America we have the same boss of record company, Seymour Stein from Sire Records, and he asks again from time to time.

Bravo: Is there a personality in this century, that you admire?
Falco: Niki Lauda! Not because he wears the red cap and will always be red-white-red in his soul but because of that the man has burned in person with 240 km/h and then once again has had the nerves to sit down again in such a car. And this is far out beyond the claim : " Well yes, he has it done because he has needed the money." I would never manage this in life, this is unbelievable.

Bravo: Have this one a parallel to your career, with the buckling in your career and the new successful beginning?
Falco: Yes, insofar, as we are both crazy individualists.

Bravo: Is there something of which you are concretely afraid?
Falco: Yes, the death, because it is something ridiculous final , that is the original-fear for me, and something other I cannot introduce to me . If you put me today on street and give me a mark and say you are a nobody, then I drive to the studio with the bus and begin again from scratch.
