1988, Falco (33) extinct with his LP *Wiener Blut* like theTitanic. The weak songs on the disk the fans, spoils from super-hits like *Rock me Amadeus* or *Jeanny *, found so little funnylike the cancellation of his Germany-tour in the last moment. TheFalco that now lined up in Munich to interview acts as a new human.
Since *Kommissar * eight years ago he never looked so fit. - 10kilos lighter, sun-tanned, without tear-sacks, no hanging cheeksand none swimming-ring in the waistline. And on the new album *Datade groove * Falco rags again right free. With rockets like *Data deGroove *, *Expocityvisions * or *Alles im Liegn * Falco has thecomeback in the Charts already as well as in his bag. The tour 1988he canceled not only because of the slowly booking but he had themuzzle fully from all. A radical cure was required. At the end of'88 the Austria-Rocker buried himself three months in theAustralian desert, gave up boozing and smoking. In April 1989, backfrom his world-trip, he got divorced, furnished his Viennese apartment new again and went back to work. He visits his daughter Katharina (4) once a week in Graz. Every morning about seven he jogs 3 miles. Nevertheless however he never wants to occur live onstage.....
