Jeanny was raped!
' Jeanny come, come on, get up,
please, you become quite wet. Already late, come, we must leave
the forest don't you understand ? Where is your shoe, you have lost
it, as I had to show you the way....' Ex *Kommissar* Falco
creates a puzzle under the fans with his newest single *Jeanny*.
Is it about a crime, about a rape? Like criminal the cover shows
off a lonesome, red stiletto. On rainy wet glittering cobblestones.
In the lyrics the No.1 of the Austrian pop scene tells the history
of the girl Jeanny with the defiant voice of a hunted criminal.
Dramatically he drives the tension on the climax without letting
the listener know exactly what has now happened with Jeanny. Apparently
he has carried her off into the forest, she has lost her shoe, it
is wet and Jeanny lies at the ground. Everything suggests a kidnapping
or worse, especially the more so as is reported with the unemotional
voice of a newscaster about a 19year old girl missing since 2 weeks.
" The police don't exclude a crime, the story finishes
tersely. Johann Hoelzel, as Falco is called with civil name, has
prevented anyway. He/itwants to get the tension and simply named
the song *Jeanny part 1*. On his next, the forth Falco record, it
shall gives part 2 andwith it the continuation of the music drama.
Altogether, Falcobetrays on the back cover text of the single that
the puzzle aboutJeanny has planed as trilogy. The third part - and
with it thepuzzle's solution - appears end of 86. Privately,
Falco has found his Jeanny however long ago. Girlfriend Isabella,
whom he has metjust in the summer 1985 expects a baby. The trainee
of Falcoprobably comes in March 1986 in Vienna to the world |
